EduPlay and KTH Leancentrum launch new Mooc: Digital Transformation in an Uncertain World
EduPlay – the newly rebranded edtech division of IMG_Play – together with KTH Leancentrum, a department of KTH Royal Institute of Technology, proudly announce the launch of the online course Digital Transformation in an Uncertain World.
This 2-hour Mooc, offered primarily in Swedish, is designed for leaders and networks across the public and private sectors. It explores how digitalisation can strengthen societal preparedness, resilience, and sustainability in times of uncertainty. The course builds on EduPlay’s and Digital Learnings at KTH earlier success with Digital Transformation and Sustainable Development, but now takes a sharper focus on challenges and opportunities for digital transformation in relation to risks.
The course design and content have been developed by EduPlay together with Henrik Hansson (Stockholm University). We are also delighted to include contributions from Fredrik Blix, Associate Professor of Cybersecurity at Stockholm University, who provides short conversation on digital risks and Swedens position.
This initiative has been recorded at KTH and is embedded in the strong context and networks provided by KTH Leancentrum. It reflects Leancentrum’s broader ambition to strengthen KTH’s role in the total defence field – contributing to national initiatives such as Campus Totalförsvar, serving as a contact point for authorities and companies, and coordinating ongoing research and education within KTH.
But this course is not just about acquiring knowledge. It is designed as a general education course that provides leaders and professionals with a broader insight on digital transformation and the sustainability goals. What tools and resources already exist? And how does Sweden compare internationally when it comes to digital transformation and preparedness?
The pedagogy is built to spark reflection rather than deliver ready-made answers.
The launch of Digital Transformation in an Uncertain World also marks EduPlay’s first course under its new name. Formerly IMG_Play’s edtech services-division, EduPlay continues its mission of creating high-quality digital learning experiences, now with a sharper profile and extended collaborations.
And this is only the beginning. More courses are on the way – both within
